General Policies

1. The rules and regulations of the SAA Grade School as stated in this handbook are intended to enhance the

life in school of an Agnesian as he/she relates and interacts with the members of the school community.

2. The enrollment of a student in the SAA Grade School is taken as an expressed willingness on his/her part

and consequently his/her parents and/or guardians, to abide by all rules and regulations of the school.

Thus, the student and his/her parents and/or guardians are committed to the strict observance of the rules

    and regulations.

3. The SAA Grade School reserves the right to admit, re-admit, refuse or dismiss a student on the basis of

his/her academic and/or conduct performance and attendance.

4. The SAA Grade School asserts itself in the exercise of its role “in loco parentis”. This means that the school

undertakes the formations of its students in the expression of parental care and concern.

5. Students, either as individuals or as a group, must not use the name of the school, nor the seal of the

    school, without official authorization.

6. Students may be called out of the classroom by means of the Call Slip. Only the following administrators

    issue the Call Slip:

        a. Principal/Asst. Principal

        b. Coordinator for Student Formation

        c. Guidance Counselors

7. As a Catholic school, with Religious Formation as the core of the curriculum, the SAA Grade School requires

that students attend and participate actively in liturgical and spiritual exercises scheduled during the

    school year.

8. Students may not be affiliated with organizations whose objectives and/or activities are contrary to the

    school’s philosophy and objectives.

9. Students must be responsible for all their belongings at all times, which should be properly labeled. The

school therefore is not held responsible for any lost article inside the school premises.

10. Students must come to school with complete requirements for the school day.

11. To further develop responsibility among our students, parents and other persons are not allowed to bring

any items for students or ask any school personnel to do the same during class hours. This includes
