IMC Print and Non-Print Objectives

           An instructional school library program is essential in order to have effective library service. A well-organized school library with rich collection will only be functional if its users know how to use the print  and non-print  resources effectively. Hence, this program is made to:

 

1. Acquire, organize and provide library materials in line with the school curriculum based on the present aims

   of Philippine Education.

 

2. Teach formally and informally the use of print and non-print materials.

 

3. Coordinate with the classroom teachers and supply their needs on instructional materials.

 

4. Provide library users a reading area and other library facilities.

 

5. Provide a variety of reading and audio-visual  materials on varied subjects and interests of children for the

    different grade level.
