General Guidelines and Student Organization Policies
4500 Rizal Street, Legazpi City, Philippines (052) 480-1682
1. All clubs in the High School Department must be duly recognized and approved by the administration.
2. The club program must be an enrichment of the academic program, formative for the students and
responsive to the school’s social involvement activities. All club programs and activities are subject to the
approval of the administration. The clubs are under the general supervision of the Coordinator of Student
Activities (CSA).
3. A faculty moderator is assigned to each student organization. The moderator, together with the club
officers, is directly responsible for the conceptualization, planning and implementation of the club program
and the supervision of the club members.
4. Each student is given the opportunity to be a member of only ONE club. This is to ensure the balance
between the academic work and the club endeavors of the student.
5. A student who is interested to join a club should sign up for membership and/or attend auditions,
screenings or try outs scheduled by the moderator. Transferring of clubs will not be allowed after
the third club meeting.
6. All club members are expected to fulfill all the requirements and expectations of the club as indicated in
the club’s constitution and by-laws.
7. Club officers are elected by the members at the beginning of the school year in the presence and under
the supervision of the club moderator.
8. The Club Hour is considered a part of the regular academic schedule. Hence, attendance at club meetings
or activities during the Club Hour is required. Students who do not attend the Club Hour but are in school
for the day will incur sanctions appropriate to the offense of cutting classes.
9. Each student is given a club grade at the end of every semester. This grade is based on his/her attendance,
leadership and involvement in the club.
