What’s a Learning Resource Center / Library?
LRC / Library is a reading center, a place for enjoying books, for investigating problems, for study, for using all sorts of printed materials – clippings, pamphlets, pictures, maps, and magazines.
This is a service agency that provides materials for all subjects and all interest of pupils and teachers. It’s a place where they can find facts and illustrative materials to read.
Library is considered a teaching agency since it has a positive, active, teaching function. It supplies all types of materials for developing and expanding interest. The library cooperates with other agencies of instruction in helping pupils learn how to use libraries and their materials, how to find information and how to study.
