1. General Functions of Club Officers

  • Enforce school rules, regulations and discipline.

  • Facilitate orderly conduct of the club activities.

  • Represent their club in meetings called for by the SCC and other sectors of the department and institution.

  •  Perform special tasks assigned by the moderators, CSA, SCC and other sectors of the department and institution.

 

2. General Functions of Class Officers

  • Assist on enforcing school rules and regulations.
  • Help maintain discipline and cleanliness in the classroom
  • Facilitate orderly movement of their class.
  • Represent their class in meetings called for by the SCC and other sectors of the department and institution.
  • Perform special tasks assigned by the SCC and other sectors of the department and institution.

 

3. The Student Coordinating Council

This is the representative body of the high school department composed of the SCC President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer1 Auditor and the Governors of the different year levels. The SCC serves as the governing body of the entire student population.

 

General Functions:

  • Helps implement the policies, rules and regulations stipulated in the student’s handbook. 
  • Promotes awareness of, commitment to, involvement in, and solidarity with communities beyond the walls of the school.
  • Suggests activities that will help the school carry out its objectives
  • Facilitates the order and discipline during line formation and assemblies
  • Monitors the cleanliness and orderliness of classrooms.
  • Conducts regular meetings of class and club officers

 

4. Qualifications of SCC, Club and Class Officers

 A. General

1. all SCC Core members and other Class/Club officers must have:

  • an average academic standing, no failing grade in any subject in any quarter
  • respect for school policies, rules and regulations
  • a conduct average of at least Bp
  • no disciplinary record throughout his/her stay in SAA
  • leadership and active citizenship qualities
  • been an active member of an organization in his/her previous year
  • positive interpersonal skills

 

B. Specific for SCC officers

1. President

  • Must be a Senior

 

2. Vice President

  • Must be a Junior or a Senior

 

3. Secretary/Treasurer/Auditor

  • May come from any year level

 

C. Student running for any elective position must secure two letters of recommendation from the previous/former adviser and from any subject teacher
