The Academic Council
The Academic Council is composed of the Coordinator of Academic Affairs and the Subject Area Chairpersons. They meet at least once a week to:
1. discuss the proposals and deliberate on curricular and co-curricular activities, development and
innovations.
2. recommend the introduction of experimental courses.
3. review the scope and sequence, grid, grading system, honor roll and failures.
4. discuss concerns involving classroom instruction and the implementation of the school’s academic
program.
5. process the evaluation of teachers at the end of the school year.
