The Board of Trustees

         The Board of Trustees of St. Agnes’ Academy is composed of ten (9) members: the Bishop of the Diocese who owns the school land, an alumnus or an alumna nominated by the Sisters’ Community, a faculty member, five (5) members of the Congregation including the Superior/Directress of the local religious community and one outside member. They are elected at the annual general membership meeting and hold office for a term of three (3) years or until their successors are duly elected and qualified.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

with the general law of the Church, the Constitution of the Congregation of the Missionary Benedictine     Sisters, the Statutes of the Manila priory of the said Congregation and Philippine Law.  

 

3. To approve the annual of the Academy.  

 

4. To determine policies of investment.

   

5. To determine policies governing the conditions attached to gifts, bequests and devices, or to trusts and

    memorials, and authorize the establishment of memorials for benefactors of the school.

 

6. To determine the major educational policies of the Academy.

 

7. To review and approve the immediate and long-range plans for continuing improvement of the academic

    programs, expansions and development of the Academy.

 

8. To appoint the external auditor of the Corporation upon prior recommendation of the president.

 

          The Board of Trustees elects from among themselves, the following officers; A Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson.  The Board of trustees may elect to form, establish or create such committees or bodies as it may deem advisable to assist in the discharge of its functions on the attainment of the objectives of the Corporation, prescribing the terms, functions, procedures and manner of filling-up such committees.
