The Coordinator of Students Affairs
The Coordinator of Students Affairs assists the Principal in matters pertaining to the implementation of school programs, policies, rules and regulations in so far as students’ activities, development and welfare are concerned.
He/she is appointed by the Directress upon the recommendation of the Principal for a term of one (1) year with possible re-appointments.
In overseeing the Student Activity Program, he/she shall:
1. Conceptualize, develop, implement and oversee the different school activities and programs in coordination
with the Principal, Academic Coordinator and club moderators.
2. Synchronize the student activity program and the academic calendar.
3. Monitor, supervise, and regulate the operation and activities of student organizations and coordinates with
all sectors of the academic community.
4. Assist in planning of curricular and co-curricular activities of the students, such as field trips, exposures,
leadership trainings, campings, etc.
5. Orient moderators regarding their role in the school organizations and other pertinent matters.
6. Meet regularly with the moderators for coordination of plans and follow up of activities and project of the
different student activities.
7. Review the program of activities of each club in the light of the mission and thrust of the school and
objectives of the Student Activity Program to achieve harmony and integration.
8. Together with the moderators, evaluate the performance of clubs based on their objectives.
9. After each activity, evaluate with the teachers/moderators concerned the implementation and
effectiveness of the respective activity.
10. Conduct evaluation of the whole student activity program with the moderators vis-à-vis its objectives and
school’s thrust.
11. Communicate with parents regarding student activities through circular letters noted by the Principal and
seek parents’ approval when called for.
12. Meet regularly with the principal to discuss the conduct and progress of student activities.
13. Keep a file of all records related to club activities - - Officers and membership, calendar of activities,
activity sheets, evaluation, financial statements, minutes of meetings, etc.
14. Submit to the Principal the following:
a. Quarterly Progress Report on student activities
b. Copies of all records related to club activities such as objectives, officers, memberships, calendar of
activities, evaluation, etc.
c. Budget Proposal on Student Activities, at the end of the year.
In assisting the Principal in the implementation of the school policies, rules and regulations, he/she shall:
1. Oversee the enforcement of the regulations contained in the High School Students’ Handbook.
2. Plan and implement a program of orientation for new students in coordination with the Principal and
Guidance Coordinator.
3. Supervise class advisers in the discharge of their duties.
4. Make recommendations on assignments of class advisers to the Principal.
5. Together with the Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, assist the Principal in interviewing
new students and their parents.
6. Submit to the Principal the following:
a. Quarterly Progress Report
b. Year End Evaluation Report
7. Serve as the moderator of the Student Coordinating Council.
8. Coordinate with the following service departments:
a. guidance
b. health services (medical and dental)
c. canteen
d. security
e. campus ministry
9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Principal.
