The High School Administrative Council
In the spirit of co-responsibility, subsidiary and team work in the management of the High School Department, the Administrative Council assists the Principal in the exercise of the various tasks related to administration, supervision and animation. The council is composed of the principal, Academic Coordinator, and Student Affairs Coordinator, Subject Area Chairperson, Social Involvement Program Coordinator and other persons designated by the Principal.
The implementation of the social thrust of the school, consultation, participation, committed service and corporate spirit shall characterize the exercise of the functions of the Administrative Council.
Functions:
1. discuss academic and non-academic matters pertaining to faculty and the student body in
general.
2. discuss the proposals and deliberate on curricular and co-curricular development and
innovations.
3. recommend the introduction of experimental courses with alternative content and new
methodology.
4. review teachers’ load, class program, the scope and sequence, grid, grading honors and
failures.
5. process the evaluation to teachers at the end of the school year.
6. plan for the review in detail the implementation of academic and non-academic policies and
programs of the department.
