The Social Involvement Program Coordinator

          The Social Involvement Program Coordinator assists the Principal on matters pertaining to the community involvement of the department.  He/she is appointed by the directress upon the recommendations of the Principal for a term of one (1) year with possible re-appointments.  In the exercise of his/her functions, he/she shall:  

 

1. Coordinate the outreach program of the department.

 

2. Plan the community involvement activities with the SIP Core Group, club moderators and class

    advisers.

 

3. Conduct at the beginning of the school year, basic orientation seminars to the students doing

    outreach work.

 

4. Inform the faculty of the activities of the SIP.

 

5. Oversee the smooth implementation of the SIP for the school year.

 

6. Meet regularly with the Principal to discuss plans, problems and other related matters about

    the program.

 

7. Communicate with public or private officials regarding activities which might directly or indirectly

    affect them and their constituents.

 

8. Conduct midyear and year-end evaluation of the outreach activities based on their objectives.

 

9. Submit the following to the Principal:

 

    a. Mid-year and year-end evaluation reports.

    b. Budget proposal on social involvement program

 

10. Perform other tasks related to his/her duties as may be assigned by the Principal.
