The Student Formation Team

       “When he must punish them, he should use prudence and avoid extremes; Otherwise, by rubbing too hard to remove the rust, he may break the vessel. He is to distrust his own frailty and remember not to break the bruised reed.” Rule of Benedict, Prologue 54:11 – 13

 

         The Student Formation team replaces the office and functions of the Coordinator of Student Discipline.  It is functioning on an experimental basis. It operates on two underlying convictions:

 

    (a) the purpose of discipline is formation, and

 

    (b) every major student misbehavior is an unconscious cry for help

 

         The Student Formation Team is composed of the following:

 

         1. The High School Principal

 

         2. Guidance Coordinator

 

         3. Coordinator of Student Affairs

 

         4. CLE Chairperson

 

         5. Year level Formators

 

         6. Class Advisers

 

         7. CLE Teachers

 

         8. Guidance Counselors

 

         9. Other persons as may be assigned by the Principal
